For the leaving cert we have to do English, Irish, Maths, a continental language(Spanish) and three options.
Originally I chose Home Ec, Economics and Geography but before the Easter holidays Mr C called me in to say there was no economics class due to poor interest. At the beginning I wasn't very happy as I really wanted to do it but I chose Business instead and hopefully I like it. :)

Today in careers we had to finish off our CV and cover letter for a job we would be interested in doing in the future. I really want to be a primary school teacher because I love working with children. I did it for work experience and even within the week i found it really rewarding as you can see them hang on to your every word and they learn so much.
I think i want to go to St Pats or
Frobel is
transferring to
Maynooth Campus in 2013 so that would be really handy :)

Yesterday was the deadline for subject choices for the leaving cert.
I chose:
- Home Ec
- Economics
- Geography
- Biology
I'm happy with these subjects and hopefully I get my first three because I think they will work well together and i'll find them interesting. I didn't get home ec for the junior cert but i am still interested and i wont miss out because it's different for the LC 'social & scientific'. :)

Today I had my careers talk with Mr C and I decided on my subjects for LC... i think :)
I have no interest in any sciences and i would like to be a primary school teacher or something with english and business so i have decided to choose Home Ec , Economics and Geography with Biology as my forth option. I am happy with my choice and hopefully I get my first 3 :)

At the moment we are in the process of choosing our subjects for 5th and 6th years.
All the teachers are giving us talks on their subjects for leaving cert. I think it’s good that I got another year to choose as I did TY and I hope I like the subjects I choose.
I think that I’ll choose Home Ec, Economics and biology or physics or geography. (:
