Choir

So for the past week we have been practicing for the carol service because TYs are partaking in the choir. Im not great at singing but its funny singing in the choir and hopefully we’ll sound good tomorrow. We get to sing lots of Christmas songs and hopefully the rest of the school will join in. Some girls are doing solos and they have amazing voices. J

Christmas

So today is our second last day of proper school before Christmas. Tomorrow we have our carol service and we are off at 12.40. On Monday we have three exams- Religion, English and Maths and on Tuesday we have Irish and Spanish so it’s not too bad. Then on Wednesday morning we get to go bowling with all of TY while the rest of the school are doing exams! Then we finish at half 12 for Christmas and we’re not back until Jan 10th. Only 9 days left! J

TY Breakfast

On Wednesday morning we went down to the second year mall first class. The other class Emnet had invited us down for a Christmas Breakfast. When we arrived, we were greeted with Christmas music, lots of food and hot chocolate. We all ate lots and had loads of fun. At the end we gave Emnet a card from class Amina to say thank you for inviting us and we had a great time. Maybe after Christmas we will organise a different themed breakfast for Emnet. J

Snow :)

On Monday our trip to Maynooth was postponed becasue of the snow. We were having a workshop on self help africa. www.selfhelpafrica.org
On Tuesday we got ... 10 minutes off :) which is better than nothing and we have a snow day today :)
